Tarusa - a house on the banks of the Oka River
The house's architecture is based on the principles of modern minimalism and functionality. A pure rectangular volume with a flat roof emphasizes the simplicity and precision of its forms. A single, extended tent, connecting the house and garage, visually connects the buildings into a cohesive ensemble and creates a distinctive horizontal line, lending the project a dynamic and contemporary look.
The house was designed for a wheelchair user.
The center of social life is the spacious kitchen-dining room, which flows into the living room-cinema room. Glazing in this area opens up views of the property and provides an abundance of natural light.
Four separate bedrooms are located in a more private area of the house, guaranteeing privacy for all family members.
The garage, equipped with a separate storage room and heating system, provides complete autonomy and order, placing all utility areas outside the main living space. This project is a combinations of aesthetics, inclusiveness, and a practical approach to living, where every detail is thoughtfully designed for the convenience of the residents.
The facades, clad in sand-colored beam brick and flexible concrete-effect ceramics, create a tactile and warm texture, where the interplay of contrasting textures becomes the main decorative element.
